Summer course Training session

Baden-Baden Carl Flesch International Summer String Academy

City: Baden-Baden

Hone your playing skills in a venerable summer course in Baden-Baden, Germany.

Take the opportunity to co-star or perform with the German Orchestra with high-level courses in violin, viola, cello and contrabass.
from March 2024th to May 7st
Karl Flesch is a world-renowned Hungarian violinist, author of performance methods, and known as a great teacher. This master course is the continuation of the summer courses held by the master himself from 1926 to 33. Only those who pass the preliminary video audition can take lessons as students. Even if you are unfortunately unable to attend, you are free to attend the public lessons. At the end of the course, students will receive a diploma. During the course, you will have many opportunities to perform not only in solo and chamber music concerts, but also as orchestral soloists such as those selected by the Baden-Baden Philharmonic. There are even prizes and scholarships available for outstanding students. The professors I'm interested in are Boris Kushnir, who teaches at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts and the Graz University of Music, who has guided many students to the top orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic, and Kirill, a solo violinist born in St. Petersburg and active in Germany. - Trusoff, former head of the Berlin Philharmonic and professor at the Geneva High School of Music, Marte Schutsch, an exciting cellist who has an exclusive recording contract with Deutsche Grammophon, current principal double bassist of the Berlin Philharmonic and a member of the Hanns Eisler School of Music. There are XNUMX people including Professor Janne Saksala. During the course period, you can also attend many concerts. Baden-Baden is one of Germany's leading resort areas, symbolized by the spacious Kurhaus, and is a sophisticated and beautiful city (it is also a very famous summer tourist attraction). The course venue and accommodation will be Lichtental Abbey. The training and accommodation are in the same location, so you don't have to worry about traveling. In addition, there is also an exquisite wine cellar in this area, where you can enjoy wine. You can also enjoy summer sightseeing in Europe by enjoying hiking and golf, and since it is close to France, you can continue sightseeing to cities in Germany and abroad.
