A class for intermediate and advanced students in Burgos, a Spanish city that retains the remnants of the Middle Ages

Lecturers led by professors teaching at well-known American schools such as the Manhattan Conservatory and Manes Conservatory offer piano, violin, cello, clarinet, and organ courses.

This is an 3-day summer course held in Burgos, a Spanish city where the Cathedral of Santa Maria, one of Spain's three major cathedrals and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located.Course subjects offered include piano, violin, cello, clarinet, and organ.Participants will have four private solo lessons and four group ensemble lessons during the program, as well as the opportunity to join a chamber music orchestra.The content of the lessons is open to everyone from intermediate and advanced amateurs to professionals.When applying to participate, please submit a recording of two short pieces for ensemble formation (this is not an audition).The Sensei instructors are mainly professors who teach at famous American schools such as the Manhattan School of Music and the Mannes School of Music.Sensei changes every year, but so far we have had many students from America and Europe, including Professor Herbert Greenberg of the Peabody School of Music, a prestigious school in the United States, and Arkady Aronoff, a Steinway artist who teaches at the Manhattan School of Music and the Mannes School of Music. There were also top schools such as Sensei, a special music school in Russia known for its education for gifted children.For this year's sensei, please check out the "Faculty" section below.Accommodation will be in a deluxe student dormitory at a local university.Double rooms with full board included, computer lab, training gym, cafeteria, meeting space, etc.The course schedule also includes two mini-tours of Spain's top sights.A competition for participants will be held at the same time as the seminar.Would you like to step up in Spain this summer?
