Summer course Training session

New York International Piano Music Festival Master Class

City: ニ ュ ー ヨ ー ク

A piano master class organized by the New York International Piano Music Festival, where the world's top players gather in Manhattan.

Surprising instructors with a lineup of winners of famous international competitions. This is your chance to receive direct guidance from world-class pianists who release CDs from Sony and Naxos.
April 2020th - May 7th, 12
Piano workshops and music festivals held at the American Manes Conservatory and Kaufman Music Center. What surprises me at this class is, after all, the wonderful faces of the instructors. The pianist changes every year, but examples so far include Jerome Rose, a well-known great list player, an American pianist who has visited Japan frequently, and now teaches at the Manes Conservatory and the New England Conservatory. Rosenbaum, the Russian pianist Alexander Kobrin, who won the Van Cryburn International Piano Competition and the third place in the Chopin Competition, and other concert pianists who shine at the forefront of the contemporary classical music world will be gathered. Many young pianists will also gather to hold concerts. It is also overwhelming that most of them are the winners of famous international competitions or the top prizewinners of super famous competitions such as Chopin Competition and Tchaikovsky Competition. Please check the details of this year's instructors in the details section. And what is even more surprising is that this course is open to anyone.Music lovers, professionals, high school students and college students are all welcome. There is a level check by simple recording, but it does not practically fail in the audition.Master classes are held about three times a day, and each student is decided by lottery. In other words, you can apply for your favorite sensei class each time, and all the chances to take it are equal. (The exception is the first few days, and the classes will be decided in advance by the class.) Practice will be on a first-come, first-served basis at the piano provided at the City University of New York Hunter College. In addition, the seminar period overlaps with the music festival period, and concerts and events acclaimed by the New York media are held every night.Of course, students can enter all venues with a free pass. Those who participate for the entire period also have a chance to participate in the competition held at the music festival. It is recommended for those who are considering studying abroad for a long period of time, those who are considering their own level check, and those who are considering various international competitions.
