August 2010th (Wednesday) -September 8th (Sunday), 25
The Vienna Helsinki Ensemble is a string quartet founded by the top members of the Vienna Philharmonic and still inherits the sound of Vienna even after the members have changed. All members have studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and are taught by prominent professors who are also famous performers of the Vienna Philharmonic. The members of the Vienna Helsinki Ensemble will play a central role in the instructors, and from August 25th, we will hold a two-week course in Vienna.Courses are violin, viola, cello, guitar and flute. In each musical instrument course, you can generally take 2 individual lessons of about 40-60 minutes each (depending on the number of people, it may be 1 lessons a day). The assignment song is free, and excerpts of orchestra songs are also okay.Of course, group participants can also take both musical instrument and chamber music courses.Qualifications are those who are 2 years of age or older and who have been studying at a music school or private lessons for 13 years or more. There is no audition, but the number of participants is limited to 25 to 30, so it is recommended to apply early. In the second half of the period, a public concert will be scheduled in which selected students can perform. The accommodation will be a hotel where you can practice. It's a unique opportunity to play against a high-level audience in Vienna, the home of classical music. Before and after the class, it is a great place to enjoy the sights of the musicians and sightseeing in Vienna, the city of music.
