Country: France

Participate in a summer class by a well-known French conservatory or an active French orchestra player.

A professor of a well-known French conservatory and an active orchestra player hold a seminar to study abroad and improve the level of music, and to prepare for an orchestra audition.I'm glad that I can also take chamber music at the same time.
from March 2024th to May 7st
The Arc Music Academy is held in Les Arcs, Savoie, located in the heart of the Alps in southeastern France, bordering Italy and Switzerland. This summer course has a history of over 50 years and is attended by nearly 200 students every year. Majoring in vocal music, piano, and various orchestral instruments. The instructors are mainly professors from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Lyon, as well as active orchestral players at the highest level in France, such as the Orchester National de Lyon. The course is not only limited to solo master classes for studying music abroad and improving one's level, but also current orchestral players will hold classes to prepare for orchestra auditions, so it is a great content for those aiming to become a professional orchestra overseas. In addition, if students are interested, they can also take part in chamber music and workshops. Chamber music is organized locally depending on the level, instrument, purpose, and interests of the students. Workshops will include on-stage relaxation techniques, Tai Chi, physical therapy, etc., so please choose the workshop of your choice and participate. Concerts are also arranged for students during this period, and students may perform with permission from their professors. Accommodation will be in a residence with rooms for 3 to 6 people close to the seminar venue. There are many places where you can eat meals, such as restaurants and snacks, so it would be a good idea to have a meal with the friends you made during the course. Les Arcs is located approximately 600 kilometers from Paris and 200 kilometers from Lyon.
