Summer course Training session

Richmond Jazz Summer Course

City: Richmond

From beginners to advanced players, let's step up while enjoying the fun of jazz.

Led by faculty led by world-famous jazz educator Jamey Aebersold in the historic town of Richmond, England. The fun atmosphere without pressure is attractive.
Held at the Adult Community College in Richmond, southwest of downtown London, this summer course is a well-established jazz course that has been held more than 1984 times since 20.All qualifications, from beginners to advanced players, are 17 years old or older and have more than a year of jazz experience.

The main feature of this workshop is, after all, a good atmosphere without competition.By organizing classes according to the skill level, each student can learn jazz freely and happily without feeling pressure. To date, more than 1600 people from all over the world have participated, including drummers Paul Clarvis and Mark Mondegir, who are among the top musicians, Liam Noble, known as intellectual jazz pianist, saxophone and flute. It's also worth noting that there are many front-line players in the UK, such as the award-winning Theo Trevis.

The professors who provide guidance are also top notch. The director who oversees the entire course is Jamey Aebersold, who is famous as the author of the "Jamey Aebersold" series of jazz teaching materials that are trusted and utilized by musicians around the world. And the teachers of each instrument are the top musicians who are experienced as sensei and the authors of popular instructional books. The daily schedule consists of jazz theory, ear training, master classes for each instrument and vocals, and jazz combo lessons aimed at the final day of the concert. In addition to lessons, you can have free jam sessions on the campus, as well as free-for-all big band sessions and professor gigs.

It is a meaningful course that you can learn very firmly.
