Summer course Winter class Spring course Master class Training session

House Marto Master Class

City: Lichtenberg

Various master classes are held throughout the year, led by a professor at the German University of Music.Choose according to your purpose!

At the violinist Henri Marteau's building, House Marteau, a small group of people holds a master class for about a week throughout the year, which has been well received.
2024 year 9 month 2 day to 2025 year 8 month 1 day
Haus Marteau was built in Lichtenberg, the northernmost part of Bavaria, Germany, between 19 and 20 by Henri Marteau, a violinist who was active from the late 1911th century to the early 1913th century. Marteau spent the last 20 years of his life here. Currently, it is an international music education facility representing Lichtenberg, and various classical and early music seminars are held throughout the year. Course majors vary depending on the year, but sensei are collected from piano, violin, viola, double bass, cello, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, horn, percussion, vocal, chamber music, etc. Each course is a small master class for about one week, targeting 1 to 8 people. Even in the same piano class, sometimes the assignment is a free piece, sometimes the period and style of the pieces to be studied are predetermined, such as Viennese Classical, Romantic, or Impressionist, and sometimes the class is labeled as a class for accompanying songs, chamber music, or preparing to perform in front of others for exams, concerts, and competitions, so when you take the class, make sure it's suitable for you. On the other hand, the wide range of master class themes is a feature of Haus Marteau, and the advantage is that you can pinpoint and take classes that are tailored to the learning you need right now. If you want to increase a certain repertoire, gain experience in chamber music, or prepare for competitions or entrance exams to music colleges in Germany, this master class will meet many needs.
