Summer course Training session

Montecito International Music Festival

City: Riverside

A comprehensive educational program that provides intellectual stimulation and musical experience while staying healthy

A class that treats participants as "the great musicians of the next generation" and provides an environment where they can communicate closely with world-class artists.
The Montecito International Music Festival, held at La Sierra University in the suburbs of LA, Southern California, is a summer of up to three weeks for students of piano, string, wind, brass, vocal and composition. It is a class. This course has a mission to treat participants as "the great musicians of the next generation" and to treat them as if they were respecting today's musicians, and to improve their technical skills and musicality. The philosophy of this program is to provide a comprehensive program with an emphasis on intellectual stimulation and musical experience, as well as a healthy stay.Participants actively exchange views not only with on-campus practice studios, but also in a close community that promotes musical and artistic development through interaction with the instructor. I encourage you to do that. The instrumental performance course allows you to participate in 3 private lessons, 5 chamber music sessions, solo recitals and / or chamber music ensembles during the period.Master classes by guest artists are also available. There is also a chamber music orchestra for high school students and younger, and optionally a performance opportunity at a local church or senior citizens' center. The vocal course offers a rich curriculum, including yoga for singers, the basics of the Alexander Technique, instruction by prominent singers, opera, staging, and voice lessons. Each course offers instruction to support the musical growth of each student, tailored to the artistic needs of the student.Participants in the past were very satisfied, and some said, "I had a wonderful experience in all aspects of learning, collaboration, friendship, and so on."Why don't you join this class this summer and take the first step toward your dreams?
