Hiroaki MIZUMA Germany-Cologne Radio Orchestra Chief / Bassoon / Wind Instrument Workshop

City: Cologne

Cologne Radio Orchestra Principal Player Hiroaki Mizuma's Bassoon and Wind Instrument Workshop-July 2007th (Sat) -7th (holiday), 14

Learned from Hiroaki Mizuma, the principal bassoonist and conductor of the Cologne Bassoon Orchestra-held in Kanagawa and Sagamihara from Saturday, July 2007th to Monday, July 7th, 14. Let's learn the best of Europe in Japanese from a Japanese bassoonist.
Hiroaki Mizuma, a bassoonist who graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts, was praised for his outstanding achievements and studied abroad at the University of Music in Detmold with a scholarship from the German Society for Academic Exchange. However, studying there was not enough, and after that, he became a member of the Berlin Philharmoniker Academy, which is famous for training many excellent performers, and became a first-class professional skill among the members of the Berlin Philharmoniker. I learned the spirit. In 1985, he began his professional career in Germany as the principal bassoonist of the Bremerhafen Municipal Opera Orchestra, and only three years later he was welcomed as the principal bassoonist of the Cologne Radio Orchestra, which is renowned as a prestigious orchestra in West Germany. ing.The fact that he has been active here for more than 3 years is proof that his ability is well recognized and trusted in home Europe. In recent years, he has expanded his activities to include conducting and composing, and at the same time, he is putting more effort into teaching younger generations.

The lesson starts with solidifying the basics.Check how to make sounds, shape of mouth, how to use abdominal muscles, etc., and proceed to technical practice such as vibrato and staccato.Once this is done, we will begin to study more musically and deeply, such as interpreting and expressing music.

You can take bassoon and all other wind instruments.

How to join a German orchestra?
To enter a German orchestra, you first need to get an "invitation" from the orchestra to take the orchestra. It is extremely difficult for Japanese people to receive this invitation. If you want to join a high-level orchestra, you should get an invitation about once every three years.First of all, it is natural, but Germans have priority. After that, you will be in the EU, and if not, you will be Asian. It is said to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for broadcast orchestras. Also, even if you get an invitation, it is really difficult to pass.

Mizuma sensei has survived the fierce battle and is working hard to reach the top.I don't think there is a way to enjoy the feat, humanity, and musicality.Do you easily shake such a lesson on a stick?

■ A seminar will be held in Kanagawa from July 7th to 14th for 16 days.

Hiroaki Mizuma sensei's three-day course will be held from Saturday, July 3th to Sunday, July 2007th, 7 at the Angel Art School of Music, a music school in Kanagawa Prefecture.Only a limited number of people can receive real lessons directly from sensei (including attendance). In this class, we will hold German-style group lessons and private lessons held at Karajan Academy and other places.

In German group lessons, many people take lessons at the same time.At the very beginning, everyone will do the basics, and each lesson will be given in turn. When others are blowing, it is mandatory and must be seen.During the lesson, I don't know when my turn will come. It's always tense. The density is almost the same as taking lessons all day long. This is an opportunity to take such a dense lesson without visiting Germany.

Since it is co-sponsored by a music school, it is a wonderful lesson / practice environment where you can practice in a separate classroom even if you want to practice what was corrected during the lesson.

Hiroaki Mizuma sensei wants to convey authentic German music to Japan. Also, as one of his lifelong efforts, he wants to raise the level of Japanese music. If you take a lesson, you will know what is different, so please take the step with courage. That step may influence your future musical life. You will be "impressed" and "surprised" by the personality and lessons of sensei.

This time, anyone, regardless of level or age, can take the lesson. This is your chance when sensei is coming to Japan without having to go to Germany.Don't miss this opportunity!

● Preparation for study abroad
● Preparation for the competition
● Preparation for auditions such as orchestra
● Level up
● Aiming for German Okeman
● Learn how to teach in the real world
● Experience the home with your body

It is possible to have the lessons watched for various purposes!

If you haven't taken lessons yet, you are welcome to attend. There are so many things you can learn not only by playing yourself, but also by watching other people's lessons. Many students in Europe study through listening. It is also an opportunity to listen to the performances of other students, and you will be able to better understand how to teach sensei through the lessons of various people. The teaching method of sensei who is staying abroad is completely different from that of Japan. In particular, the main focus is to "enjoy and express music more", so the points to teach vary from student to student. Also, I am proud of my lessons as a professional, so I am fully stimulated. Please do not miss this opportunity!

■ Voices of participants and listeners October 2007 Partial excerpt ■

■ Lesson students ( F ・ H)
It was a very good lesson.I clearly understood what I was missing, and learned how to practice it.It was very helpful to clearly say that bad things are bad and good things are good.

■ Lesson students ( N ・ H)
I learned a lot.He taught me in detail from the basics to the application, so it became an issue for future practice.I'm glad I found that I had to study a lot. Also, I think it was good that it was in the form of a group lesson.By comparing with other students, I found out what I was good at and what I was not good at. By spending three days together, I think I learned the professional spirit.I'm glad I took this lesson.

■ Lesson students ( TA)
I knew there was a problem with the basics, but until now I was only pointed out and couldn't figure out a solution. This time, I'm glad that it became quite clear and I learned a lot. Also, I was able to understand the problems that can be said musically as a whole, which was a real plus.I was worried at first, but I'm glad I took the course.

■ Lesson students ( TS)
I had a good time with sensei.I learned it from the basics over time. There were people with other musical instruments, so I wasn't bored.
