A pianist born in Poland, raised in Venezuela, and educated in music in the United States and Germany. In parallel with the performance, he has been actively engaged in educational activities for many years.
Originally from Krakow, Poland, Ozkowski moved to Maracaibo at the age of six after his parents were invited by the Venezuelan government as founding members of the Maracaibo Symphony Orchestra. At the age of 6, he made his concert debut with the Malakaivo Symphony Orchestra. At the age of 11, he entered the prestigious American music school Indiana University Bloomington as a "special student".Two years later, he moved to Germany for further study at the Detmold Music Academy and the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich.As he continued his musical activities, he was advised to study music education and performance practice, and graduated from Martin Luther University in Halle with excellent grades in 15.He has won international competitions in Indianapolis, USA, Michigan and Venezuela.While co-starring with orchestras in many parts of South America, North America and Europe, he has also been active in educational activities, coaching and vocal accompaniment at Martin Luther University in 2, and his specialty at the same university since 2000. In charge of piano and song composition classes. He moved to the University of Music in Detmold in the fall of 1998 and has been a professor ever since.As you can see from his career, he is very enthusiastic about studying and educating himself.Any student who can share his insatiable inquisitiveness and passion for music will be welcome.
