Robert Winn, a world-famous flute player born in Halifax, northern England, graduated from the Royal Academy of Music.With outstanding musical ability, he gained the position of chief of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, a leading British orchestra, in 1985. Until he left the orchestra in 1997, he supported famous conductors such as André Previn and Vladimir Ashkenazy, and released many concerts and CD recordings all over the world.In addition to his extensive experience in classical music, he has performed as a flutist in numerous Hollywood films such as "The Lord of the Rings" and "The English Patient."He is also enthusiastic about teaching younger generations, and started teaching in earnest as a professor at the Weimar Franzlist College of Music in Germany in 1994, and has been teaching his students as a professor at the Cologne College of Music from 1999 to the present.The highlight is that in his life as a professor, he has trained more than 50 professional musicians.For example, it is no exaggeration to say that he is raising the largest number of professional orchestra players in the world, such as Charlotte Ashton, chief of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and Frist Dobrinov, chief of Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, who is familiar in Japan.His experience and knowledge of teaching methods have been well received by publishing techniques and lesson books for beginners and advanced flute players.Teaching methods are devised to give students confidence.Even now, lessons are held from the ages of 15 to 80, but it is best for everyone to enjoy the trip with this instrument.For those who are aiming for professionalism while studying in Germany, there is no doubt that it is a proven and reliable sensei.
