A violin lesson given by the first German winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition, which has been described as an ``absolutely convincing performance.'' /Tuesday, October 2023, 10 Limited to 10 people

Learn from a German violinist who has played with international orchestras from early on, has a rich repertoire, and has a reputation for teaching competition preparation.
Nicolas Koeckert was born into a music family with a long history, with roots in Germany and Brazil. I've been familiar with this instrument since my grandfather gave me my first violin when I was five. It was 5 years old that started full-scale specialized education. After studying at the Würzburg University of Music, he went on to the Cologne University of Music. After studying under Zakhar Bron and graduating from the school as chief in 16, he completed his master's degree two years later. Prof. Koeckert has participated in numerous competitions since he was a student and has achieved brilliant results. In 2005, he won the highest award at the Novosibirsk International Young Violinist Competition, and in 2, he became the first German prize winner at the Tchaikovsky International Competition, one of the three major competitions in the world. Also, as a soloist, he has performed with the Mozart Symphony Orchestra, the Russian State Symphony Orchestra, and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. With a wide repertoire from baroque to modern times, his performances are "absolutely compelling" and "in a casual and generous way to reveal that there are no obstacles to the technique and no limits to talent." It has been described as and continues to fascinate the audience on stage. He has been active as an educator from early on, has 2001 years of teaching experience at the Private University of Music and Arts in Vienna, and has held master classes in Germany and abroad. Currently, I am training young musicians as a professor at the Faculty of Music, University of Applied Sciences, Kalaidos in Zurich, Switzerland. This is a private lesson that I would definitely recommend to those who are thinking about preparing for the competition.
