Jerome Guichard was born in the French city of Nancy.He studied oboe, solfege, analysis, and chamber music at the local Conservatory of Music in Nancy, and after achieving excellent results, he entered the prestigious Conservatoire National Supérieure de Paris.He majored in oboe and chamber music here as well, achieving first place in his school.He participated in various international competitions, steadily rising through the ranks, and won the International Oboe Competition in Tokyo.He achieved major titles as a solo oboist.He has performed with many of Europe's leading orchestras, including the Orchester National de France, the Radio France Philharmonie, and the London Symphony Orchestra.
