Located in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, the Liszt Conservatory was founded in 1875 by the composer Franz Liszt.Suitable for Budapest with its wonderful buildings, its traditional and beautiful old and new school buildings have a high artistic reputation and are known as historically valuable buildings.With many music facilities such as the Opera and Concert Hall, the town is full of vibrancy for people living with art.Currently, there are 900 students enrolled in the school.We produce award winners almost every year in important competitions around the world.The school spirit is characterized by its reformative and international flavor, while respecting tradition.Classes are mainly in Hungarian, but for international students, group lessons are conducted in English.Private lessons are available in English, German and Spanish.You can take other lectures in English if you apply for 5 or more international students, so you can study with confidence.We also offer special Hungarian lessons for those who are not very confident in their language skills.We offer a nice program where you can experience studying abroad while improving your musical taste.The school has many great Hungarian musicians, such as Bartok Bella, Kodaly Zoltan, Jenő Hubay, Erno Dohonani, Leo Weiner and David Popper, who are representative of Hungary or indispensable to the Hungarian music world. Music education usually consists of a three-year bachelor's degree and a two-year master's degree.You can major in piano, piano accompaniment, organ, harp, church music, music education, wind instruments, percussion instruments, chamber music, vocal music (including opera), stringed instruments, music theory, composition, conducting, music, folk music, etc.There are also part-time courses where you can take lessons in English or German for those who do not place importance on qualifications.The campus is fully equipped with an audio-visual studio equipped with the latest electronic music technology installed with the assistance of the Japanese government and a multimedia library.In addition, we have a library that boasts the largest music collection in Hungary, and stores a huge variety of information such as sheet music, collections, and sound sources.It is also attractive to have a wonderful environment where you can use these facilities at any time.
