An international competition for young people, watched by Italian master Carlo Maria Giulini.

We have prepared a variety of awards and diplomas, from victory to 6th place and special awards, so that as many young pianists as possible can have a chance and confidence that will lead to the future.
The Mauro Paolo Monopoly International Piano Competition is an international competition for young pianists held in Barletta, facing the Adriatic Sea in southern Italy. Started in 1996 to commemorate Mauro Paolo Monopoly, a genius pianist who died in 1997.Held every May, 5 marks the 2013th anniversary. The organizer is the Barletta Giuseppe Curci Culture and Music Association.Local governments such as cities and prefectures, as well as foundations and companies cooperate. It is also known that the master Carlo Maria Giulini was deeply involved in the competition. Respecting his will to "enrich people's hearts through music, the younger generation", he continues to watch over young pianists as Honorary Chairman even after his death in 16.
There are five stages of judging, including the preliminary judging, and the preliminary, primary, secondary, semi-final, and final are all judged by live performance.Of course, assignment songs are also set, but in the first half you can put free songs in the program, so if you incorporate your favorite songs, you will be able to express your world view. The second half of the semi-final is finally a concerto. This collaboration will be a valuable experience as it will be performed on two pianos. And in the final, a collaboration with the Bari Prefectural Symphony Orchestra is waiting. If you win, you will have recitals and concerts with orchestras in Italy and abroad.Past winners who have expanded their musical activities in this way include famous international competitions such as Oliver Kahn, Anna Vinnitskaya, Yusuke Kikuchi and other pianists who are already active on the front lines, Stanislav Khristenko and Sipione San Giovanni. There are also young people who have won the award. The Mauro Paolo Monopoly International Piano Competition is a steady step towards the future.
