A one-off lesson for Beethoven's Ninth at the end of the year taught by a German vocal diction expert. Authentic pronunciation will double the excitement.
As the end-of-year choir season approaches, many people are looking forward to Beethoven's Symphony No. 9. Wouldn't you like to sing this masterpiece more beautifully in German?

And Vision International Music School (AIMS) offers a one-time German Vocal Diction Lesson to help you sing Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 beautifully. This lesson is a special program that focuses on the Ninth Symphony and is a part of the regular year-round vocal diction lesson.

The instructor is Kashikuma Yasue Sensei, who has extensive experience in Austria. After graduating from Saitama University's Faculty of Education (majoring in music), she decided to study abroad and moved to Europe in 1989. She studied vocal music under Professor Josef Loibl (former professor at the University of Music in Munich and the University of Music in Graz), and has continued to study vocal music and vocal techniques under him to this day. In 1990, she took lessons from court singer Peter Schreier at the Salzburg Summer Academy of Music. In 1993, she graduated from the Austrian State University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Department of Vocal Music (majoring in songs and oratorios). She continued to study opera at the same university, where she received instruction from director Horst Zander and actor Vera Schneider-Bergeny, which became an important opportunity for her to study the close connection between vocalization, pronunciation, and expression. She was a member of the choir at the Graz Opera House (Austria) (1993-96) and participated in a variety of concerts throughout Austria, as a soloist in church masses, and in planning and performing in charity concerts.

The benefits of learning authentic German vocal diction are clear. By taking lessons from Kashiwaguma Sensei, you can improve the pronunciation habits unique to Japanese people and acquire the sound of authentic German. This will dramatically improve the persuasiveness of your singing voice as it is conveyed to the audience. In fact, many of those who have taken these German vocal diction lessons have reported results such as "the impression of the song changed just by changing the pronunciation" and "the conductor praised my pronunciation."

Kashikuma Sensei will use his knowledge and techniques of vocalization and pronunciation that he has cultivated over many years under a German professor to carefully teach the pronunciation mistakes that Japanese people often make. With his many years of experience as a German interpreter, he will conduct lessons aimed at living German pronunciation and singing that is full of emotion. He will teach you the tricks of authentic German vocal diction, so that you can learn pronunciation that is easier to sing and resonates with the hearts of your listeners.
