Music reaches people's hearts beyond words. And the process of learning music will also be a journey that will be deeply engraved in your heart. And Vision International Music School (AIMS), a one-time violin lesson provided by And Vision Inc., will open a new door for you as the first step of such a musical journey.
Why take overseas-style violin lessons? It's not just to learn techniques. It's to connect with the world through music and broaden your own possibilities. Whether you're considering studying abroad in music or simply want to enjoy playing, taking lessons at AIMS will help you acquire an attitude of facing music from an international perspective.
The instructor, Jonathan Haddox sensei, is a talented violinist who grew up in a rich musical environment in San Francisco and has experience in numerous orchestras. He majored in violin performance at the Master's program at San Francisco State University and studied both solo and chamber music with the prestigious Alexander String Quartet. He has performed with various orchestras and musical groups, including the San Francisco Symphony and the Berkeley Symphony, and has been dedicated to nurturing young musicians as a teacher and trainer at Villa Sinfonia for many years. He has also been involved in teaching at the annual chamber music camp. He currently lives in Japan, and in parallel with his performance activities, he spreads the joy of music through his teaching, making use of his rich experience.
Jonathan sensei has lived in Japan for about 15 years and has a good understanding of Japanese sensibilities. He offers lessons in both English and Japanese. Even if you are nervous about a foreign sensei, you can enjoy learning the violin in a relaxed atmosphere. Jonathan sensei's lessons will not only teach you techniques, but also give you the valuable experience of finding your own voice through the instrument.
This violin lesson is a 1-minute complete lesson held at the AIMS music school in Ochanomizu, Tokyo. Normally, AIMS offers year-round courses in "major practical", "music theory" and "language", but this time we are introducing a special opportunity to casually experience "major practical" just once. During the lesson, you will naturally learn musical terminology used overseas, so for those who are thinking about studying abroad in music in the future, this is the perfect lesson to prepare for studying abroad.
These violin lessons are open to anyone with a passion for music, regardless of their level; this includes those aiming to study abroad in music, as well as college or high school music students aspiring to become professional musicians, those wanting to improve their performance skills, those wanting to study music in a foreign language, and those simply interested in overseas music for cultural education.
Jonathan Sensei's warm and positive personality and extensive teaching experience allow him to provide lessons tailored to the goals and objectives of each individual, from beginners to professionals. In addition, by utilizing AndVision Inc.'s track record in supporting students studying abroad in music, you can also receive advice on studying abroad in music, such as answering questions and career counseling, even after the lesson.
Music is not just a technique, but has a deep connection with culture and history. In Jonathan Sensei's violin lessons, you can learn not only performance techniques but also the historical background of music, deepening your understanding of music and the joy of playing an instrument at the same time.
This is a rare opportunity to experience world-class music education while in Japan. Why not take the first step to take your violin playing to the world with a one-time lesson at AIMS? A journey of new discoveries and growth through music awaits you.
